Lances and extensions
A longer spray lance handles height without moving the sprayer. The 0.60 m extensions lengthen the existing lance; the 1 m, 2.40 m, and 3.60 m telescopic lances reach fruit trees, frameworks, and roofs. Complete lances replace a worn lance, including the handle and nozzle.

What lance length do I need to treat a fruit tree?
A mature tree can be taller than 4 to 5 m, beyond the reach of a sprayer's original equipment. You then need a giant telescopic lance: 2.40 m from Hozelock or 3.60 m from Berthoud. For a shrub or a hedge, a 0.60 m extension or a 1 m telescopic tube is enough.
Does an extension fit every lance?
No. The 0.60 m Berthoud extensions are designed for the Fuso and Profile handles. For Hozelock extensions, check the product page; if in doubt, contact customer service with the reference of your sprayer.
Does a complete lance come with its nozzle?
Yes. Complete lances include their handle, hose fittings and at least one nozzle, most often an adjustable cone nozzle. The Berthoud multifunction composite lance comes with a fan nozzle and a deflector nozzle.
