How do I find the right seals for my sprayer?
Each kit lists the models concerned: pump seals for the Elyte 8 Ultra Max or Floraly Optima Bricolage (models made after October 2005) from Berthoud, and a seal kit for Hozelock 5, 7 and 12 L, T7 and Pulsar sprayers. The model reference is shown on the sprayer or in its instructions.
How often should the seals be greased?
At least once or twice a year, more often with intensive use. The pump seals, in contact with the liquid, are under the most strain.
What is a pressure regulator for?
It keeps a constant pressure of 1 bar at the nozzle, the ideal pressure for weeding according to Berthoud. Spraying stays even, with no over- or under-dosing, and the anti-drip system prevents runs.
How long are spare parts available?
Ten years for Berthoud models, five years for the Hozelock models that state it. The period is shown on each product page.
