Frequently asked questions
Are Berthoud accessories compatible with a Hozelock sprayer?
Not always. Compatibility depends on the handle and the lance thread: Berthoud extensions fit the Fuso and Profile handles, and the Profile handle takes lances with a Stoprex thread. Some parts are universal, such as the Hozelock Innovation multi-purpose nozzle, which fits all Hozelock and Berthoud sprayers. Each product page lists the models concerned.
Nitrile or Viton seals: which should I choose?
Viton seals are designed for aggressive products. If you regularly spray this type of product, choose a handle or a seal kit with Viton seals, such as the Hozelock Comfort handle or the Hozelock seal kit for 5, 7 and 12 L sprayers.
How do I look after the seals of a sprayer?
Grease all the seals at least once or twice a year, more often with intensive use, especially the pump seals, which are in contact with the liquid. The Berthoud silicone grease syringe lets you apply a small amount precisely.
